The Light & Motion Putrajaya, also known as the Putrajaya Lights, has been an annual event for the past seven years and is the highlight of Putrajaya's event calendar. This year, for the first time ever, PPJ is organizing a special edition lighting festival called the LANTERN FESTIVAL: Putrajaya Lakefront 2024. This festival is held in conjunction with the Federal Territory Day 2024 celebration and the 28th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Putrajaya Corporation on March 1st. The uniqueness and identity of this festival lie in the 'Grand Light Symphony' and 'Musical Fountain' performances at Putrajaya Lake, with the Monorail Bridge as the main and mega element. There will also be lighting decorations on the water, alongside illuminated decorated boats that will further enhance the beauty of the lakeside lighting. Additionally, there will be fun activities featuring illuminated buildings, colorful illuminated trees, live music, stalls, food trucks, hologram exhibitions, shadow puppet shows, LED-lit pedal-powered trishaws, street art, radio control exhibitions, zumba, and much more.
