2022 marks 40 years of Malaysia’s Look East Policy of engaging Japan in adopting sustainable and efficient development models, and 65 years of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Japan.
By featuring various genres of Malaysia and Japanese music, it will be possible to introduce the wealth of diversity of subgenres present in the Japanese and Malaysia music scene to a wider audience in Malaysia without having to cater to fans of one genre.
As an effective method to expand the tourism, there will be joint performances with popular Japanese and Malaysian artists and musicians.
