Mestika Bumi is a theater production adapted from two classic films: Jula-Juli Bintang Tiga (1959) and Jula-Juli Bintang Tujuh (1962). Mestika Bumi features a talented cast of both veteran and new actors. The purpose of this noble performance is to introduce the public, particularly the younger generation, to recognize and appreciate the cultural heritage of their own nation. The unique history of bangsawan (noble theater), having gone through periods of rise and fall, serves as an important lesson and should be used as a foundation to guide Malaysia's theater productions in a more focused and dynamic direction.
