Easily accessible and absolutely relaxing, Ulu Bendul Recreational Forest is a favourite spot for picnics and day trips. The recreational forest is located between the towns of Kuala Pilah and Seremban in Negeri Sembilan. It is nestled within the Angsi Forest Reserve enclave. Surrounded by natural greenery, Ulu Bendul is perfect for a swim in the pond or wading along the meandering stream. There are many boulders along the river - these obstructions cause the water to flow rapidly, almost massaging and soothing tired nerves, similar to a natural jacuzzi! Just lie back against the rock and let the rushing water work its magic.
Ulu Bendul’s lush tropical forest setting, winding moss-covered footpaths and the soothing sound of the gurgling stream completely whisks you away from your daily routine and stress. Visitors have to arrive along the scenic interior route before arriving at the recreational forest. The sight of tall shady trees fringing the narrow route, along with shrubs, ferns and small insects keep the journey interesting and gives plenty of photo opportunites for shutterbugs.
Facilities at Ulu Bendul Recreational Park include tables and benches, parking bays, changing rooms, restrooms, Muslim prayer room, campsites and numerous stalls/shops selling essential items such as floats as well as a variety of snacks. This park is situated about half an hour’s drive from the town of Kuala Pilah and 1 ½ hours away from Seremban.
